Growing resilience in your team

“Good morning EntreLeaders, Happy Friday,

Marcus Buckingham said that growing resilience in your team is a combination of four things:

  1. Live through change
  2. Trust in leadership
  3. Feel loved at work
  4. Find love in work

Those are four examples I have seen played out consistently in our EntreLeadership team. Like you, we’ve been on the roller coaster ride the last two years. One thing we always focus on is our team development. No matter what season or circumstance.

This is a simple way to spur ongoing training, whether it’s a book club, going over goals or going over some relevant content. We pick lunch weekly (everyone eats lunch, right?) and we dive in. A couple quick callouts:

  1. Assign a facilitator (preferably not someone in leadership)
  2. Pick great content
  3. Ask open ended questions (and if you are a leader, be sure to share first)
